How to Submit a Stand-up in the Enji Interface

In addition to messaging apps like Slack, Telegram, and MS Teams, users can also submit a stand-up directly via the Enji interface. This is a great option for teams that want to keep their Enji-related work in a single location.

Bots, Standups and Alerting

StandupBuilder is available to all employees with a login to the Enji interface. On the Home page of the Enji interface, find the Standup widget. This widget displays all projects in which a user is included in the Project Team. They can submit a stand-up for any of their projects.

  • Passed/Not Passed: These labels indicate whether a user has submitted a stand-up today for each project.
  • No Label: If there is no label, a user is not required to submit stand-ups for that project. This occurs when the "Is Standuper" checkbox is not selected in a Project Team entry for that project. However, they can still submit a stand-up if they wish.

Click the Copy all worklogs button to copy all activities across all projects from yesterday to the clipboard. Use this information to submit a stand-up via a messaging app if necessary.

Follow these steps:

1. To begin, click on the ">" icon to open the side panel.

2. Complete the fields as follows:

  • Yesterday: Enji automatically populates this section with activities from the previous day, filtered for the selected project. Any changes are saved automatically. If a user accidentally deletes the activity log, they can click the Generate Log button to restore it.
  • Did you achieve your goals yesterday: Check this box if the previous day's plan was accomplished.
  • Today: Describe the current day's plan.
  • Add Problems and Add Good Things: These are optional fields. Complete them if there are any roadblocks or if something positive happened.

3. Click Submit to send the stand-up!

Stand-ups submitted this way will be included in the project statistics and sent to the channel linked to the project in Enji.
