Standup builder: saving options
Enji's Standup Builder automates the generation of the previous day’s activities from a user's stand-up report. These activities are derived from worklogs and repository commits and allow users to compile a comprehensive and informative stand-up update in little time. The Enji team has made the following updates to this function:
- Option Memory: The Standup Builder will now remember a user's selected options, even if they log out from the system. Preferences will be preserved the next time a user applies the Standup Builder and will save time and effort.
Standup Builder provides several configurable options to tailor a user’s daily stand-up report:
- Issue Key: Indicators for the specific tasks worked on during the previous day.
- Issue Summary: The tasks' title in the stand-up report.
- Work Description: A detailed worklogs text associated with each task in a stand-up.
- Bold Title and Worklogs List: Customized formatting of a stand-up report by choosing whether to include bold titles and lists.
To use the Standup Builder:
- Log in to Enji.ai.
- On the Home page, locate the Standup Builder widget.
- Set preferred options.
- Click on the Generate button.
The stand-up report will be automatically generated and copied to the user's clipboard, and they can paste it in Slack, Telegram, Chatwork, Microsoft Teams, or any other platform used for daily stand-up submission.
To streamline user workflow, we have added a dedicated button in the Alerts tab of the project report. Clicking this button will move users to the Alerts settings to help them easily configure and customize alerts.
Here is the Alerts Settings Page after a user has clicked on Edit Alerts button:
Legacy artifact removal on the sign-in page
In the previous version, users may have noticed a legacy artifact that displayed a different name when they signed into Enji via Google. The Enji Team is happy to inform users that this artifact has now been updated to "Enji.ai" for a consistent and branded sign-in experience.
Issue resolved: No activity from today in Recent Activity
Users noted an issue on the Activity Feed –> Recent Activity block that the current day displayed activities from the previous day. For example, on October 10th, users would see data for October 9th instead of the activities from the current day, October 10th. The Enji team has corrected this problem, and the Recent Activity block now correctly displays data from the current day to ensure users have real-time access to the most relevant information.
